Igor Folvarochnyi

Vice President

Igor Folvarochnyi is from Ukraine. He is a Doctor of Education (Dr.hab) at the National University of Ukraine on physical education and sport. His interests are in the history and theory of world education. As an activist, he encourages his students to build a democratic society, develop the skills and attitudes of active citizenship, and cooperate with the government and non-government educational and scientific institutions.

Rex O. Schade

Rex has been member of AWE since 1995. He is also the Chair of UN-Committee in AWE. He has been a lifelong educator, taught at Ryslinge Højskole, Denmark for 35 years, 1974-2009, in Pedagogic/Education and Politics. International manager of World Class NGO and EU-Projects. Member of the Association for Folke Højskoler, FFD in Denmark since 1974.

Sabith Kumar Pillai

Sabith is a social worker who specializes in community development working with sustainable community development, non-formal and vocational education, and corresponding technologies. Previously, he worked as the Assistant Coordinator (building model and sustainable communities for Scheduled Caste people) supported by the Department of Science & Technology (India), as the Vice-Principal of Mitraniketan People’s College (a community College) and as the Program Manager (hub partnership), Tata Institute of Social Sciences’ School of Vocational Education.

Rikke Schultz is former Vice President of the Association for World Education. For a number of years she has been educating teachers and provided in-service training of teachers at University College Lillebælt, where she also has been responsible for Adult Teacher Education and School Librarian Education. Through recent years, she has worked with continuing education of teachers focusing on new forms of education and sustainable education under the auspices of the Association for World Education.

Khaled Soliman is an Egyptian communication engineer working as a technology solutions professional at Microsoft and trainer in various training programs in the fields of entrepreneurship, technology, and community development. Khaled is always eager to participate in social activities and development initiatives to drive a real impact on our communities.
